Thank you for stopping by Makita’s Labradors! We are a small hobby breederon the border of IL and WI. We choose the name Makitas Labradors, in honor of our lab Makita. I have owned labs for 25 years, and love how loyal, smart and loving, this breed is. Labradors are very versatile. With the right training, they make great hunting partners, service dogs, show prospects. Most of all, they are wonderful companions, and great family dogs. Labs have been rated as one of the most popular breed for many years. All our litters are born in our house and live indoors all the time. We take every precaution possible to insure our pups stay safe and healthy.
We offer excellent quality lab pups whose parents are OFA certified in Hips, Elbows, & eyes, as well as DNA tested. This is very important to me, my dogs, and future pups. Without the genetic testing one cannot guaranteed their pup will not be affected by certian gene mutation, which end result can become very heart breaking, and sometimes incurable. I want our pups to have the best chance possible to live a long heathy life.
